Hoppin' John is a traditional Southern dish mixing the nutty flavor of the rice with Black-eyed peas.
The dish is traditionally eaten on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day to bring good luck for the new year.
This box features Carolina Gold Rice and Black-eyed Peas. We have also included yellow Cornmeal because cornbread goes perfectly with Hoppin' John. A Marsh hen Mill decal will be in the box for good measure.
