Charleston Gold Rice is a firm textured, long grain, aromatic rice with a nutty, wholesome and grassy flavor. Charleston gold was bred off of Carolina gold for increased yield, it is bred as an immature rice and has a more grassy, floral flavor than Carolina Gold. We are again producing in the mineral rich peaty soil of Georgetown, South Carolina which was once the second largest rice producer in the world.
