Tradition is what comes to mind when we think of the polenta. Polenta is made the old-fashioned way, using a round bottom copper pot called a “paiolo”, and a long wooden spoon called a “tarello”. Originating in Northern Italy, polenta had a humble beginning, but it is now one of the most famous staples in kitchens around the world.
