    Ingredients

    • 1 9in pie crust

    For the filling:

    • ½ cup butter (melted)

    • 1 cup sugar

    • 2 eggs

    • 1 tsp vanilla

    • ½ cup Marsh Hen Mill rice flour 

    • 1 cup chocolate chips

    • 1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

    • 2 tbsp Kentucky bourbon (optional)

     


     

    Instructions

    1. Make the crust (store-bought or your own recipe!) 

    • Chill 30 minutes, then roll out and place in pie dish

     


     

    2. Make the filling

    • Whisk melted butter and sugar

    • Add eggs and vanilla

    • Stir in flour

    • Fold in chocolate chips, nuts, and bourbon

     


     

    3. Bake

    • Pour filling into crust

    • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–45 minutes

    • Center should be set but slightly gooey
